Crypto token news
Display a live news feed filtered to a specific crypto token or currency code. Headlines arrive from CryptoPanic aggregating dozens of crypto media sources. Requires a free CryptoPanic API token.
What it is for
Keep token-specific news visible on your dashboard without checking multiple sites. Enter a currency code like BTC, ETH, or SOL and the widget shows the latest articles mentioning that token. Useful for traders monitoring news flow, protocol teams watching coverage of their project, or anyone who wants crypto news scoped to a specific asset.
Requirements
This widget requires a CryptoPanic API token. Create a free account at cryptopanic.com and generate a token. Add the token to your 7di account settings under API Keys.
How to add it
- Add your CryptoPanic API token in account settings.
- Click + Add widget on any page.
- Select Crypto Token News from the widget picker.
- Enter a currency code (e.g. BTC, ETH, SOL, MATIC).
- Save. The widget shows the latest headlines immediately.

| Refresh interval | How often to check. Default is 5 minutes. |
Display options
- Feed scrollable list of headlines with source and time (default).
- Text article count as a single value.
Credit cost
0.02 credits per check
At the default 5-minute interval: ~5.76 credits/day per widget.
