Crypto open interest

Display the total open interest of perpetual futures contracts for any token on Binance, expressed in USD. Tracks how much capital is deployed in derivatives at any given moment. No API key required.

What it is for

Open interest measures the total value of outstanding futures contracts that have not been settled. Rising OI alongside rising price suggests new money entering the market; falling OI with falling price suggests deleveraging. Use this widget to monitor derivatives exposure as a context layer for price movements. The chart mode shows how OI has changed over recent hours.

How to add it

  1. Click + Add widget on any page.
  2. Select Crypto Open Interest from the widget picker. BTC, ETH, and SOL appear as direct-add presets.
  3. Click a preset to add it immediately, or enter any Binance perpetual symbol (e.g. BNBUSDT, AVAXUSDT).
  4. Save. The widget shows the current open interest in USD immediately.

Configuration

Display options

  • Text — current open interest in USD, formatted as $XB or $XM (default).
  • Line chart — OI history over time.
  • Bars — bar chart of recent values.
  • Histogram — distribution of historical values.

Credit cost

0.02 credits per check

At the default 5-minute interval: ~5.76 credits/day per widget.
