Macro indicator

Display a live US macroeconomic indicator on your dashboard. CPI, GDP, unemployment rate, Federal funds rate, M2 money supply, PCE inflation, and more. Updates automatically after each data release.

What it is for

Use this widget to keep key economic indicators visible on your dashboard without visiting financial sites. Useful for macro investors, economists, traders watching rate-sensitive assets, or anyone who wants to track the economic backdrop at a glance. The chart mode lets you see how an indicator has evolved over recent periods.

How to add it

  1. Click + Add widget on any page.
  2. Select Macro indicator from the widget picker.
  3. Choose an indicator from the dropdown, or enter a custom series ID.
  4. Save. The widget shows the latest release immediately.

What is displayed

The widget shows the most recently published value and the period it covers. Example: 3.27% (Jun 2025). In chart mode, previous values are graphed over time.

Custom series IDs also work — enter any valid series code in the custom field.

Display options

  • Text — latest value and period (default).
  • Line chart — historical values over time.
  • Bars — bar chart of recent values.
  • Histogram — distribution of historical values.

Credit cost

0.02 credits per check

At the default 24-hour interval: ~0.02 credits/day per widget.
