Sharing
Any page on 7di can be shared with a public link. Share a live dashboard with your team, your community, or anyone on the internet, no account required to view.
Make a page public
- Open the page you want to share.
- Click the Share button in the top bar.
- Toggle Public on.
- Copy the share link and send it to anyone.
The shared page is read-only. Visitors can see all widgets but cannot edit or add anything.
Custom URL slug
By default, shared pages use a random token in the URL (e.g. 7di.vision/share/abc123). You can set a custom slug (e.g. 7di.vision/share/my-team) in the page settings. Slugs must be unique across all shared pages.
Password protection
To restrict access, set a password on the page. Visitors are prompted to enter it before seeing any content. The password is stored as a hash; you cannot recover it, only reset it.
- Open the page settings.
- Under Password, enter a password and save.
- Share the link and the password separately.
Theme override
Add a ?theme= parameter to any shared page URL to override the theme for that view. For example:
https://7di.vision/share/my-team?theme=lightSupported themes: dark, midnight, light, paper, github, winter, latte, slate, ocean, forest, sunset, synthwave, amber, ayu, everforest, onedark, material, rose, red, monokai, dracula, nord, tokyo, catppuccin, gruvbox, solarized.
Disabling sharing
Toggle Public off to make the page private again. The old link will return a 404 immediately.
