Where 7di is a better fit than Geckoboard

Geckoboard only shows data from its supported integrations. If your data lives in a PostgreSQL database, a custom API, a government data source, or anything Geckoboard does not have a connector for, you cannot display it. There is no SQL query widget, no custom JavaScript fetch, and no way to write your own integration.

7di has no pre-built integrations and no limitation because of it. The Custom JS widget fetches any API and displays the result. The SQL query widget runs any query against your PostgreSQL database. The Webhook widget receives pushes from any service. If it has a URL or an API, 7di can monitor it.
