Embed a GitHub stats widget

Display a live GitHub repository metric on your website — star count, fork count, open issues, or open PRs — updated automatically with no API keys needed on your side.

How to embed

1. Add a GitHub Stats widget to your dashboard. Choose the stat to track (stars, forks, issues, or PRs) and enter the repository in owner/repo format.
2. Click the share icon on the widget and enable embedding.
3. Copy the embed snippet and paste it into your website.

To show multiple stats for the same repository, add one widget per stat and embed each separately.

Privacy

GitHub Stats widgets only display publicly available data. The embed does not expose any credentials or private information. See the GitHub stats widget docs for setup details.
