OBS & Streamlabs widgets

Turn any 7di widget into a live stream overlay. Add a crypto price ticker, a Minecraft server status badge, a wallet balance, or an uptime monitor directly to OBS Studio or Streamlabs using the built-in Browser Source. No plugins, no OBS scripts, just a URL.

How it works

OBS Studio and Streamlabs both support a Browser Source that renders any URL inside your scene. 7di widget embeds are standard web pages, so they load directly as stream overlays. The ?rounded=true parameter makes the widget background transparent while keeping its border and rounded corners visible, so it floats cleanly on top of your stream without a solid box behind it.

Each widget auto-refreshes its data on the interval you set, so the overlay always shows live numbers without you touching anything during the stream.

Step-by-step setup

1. Create a free account on 7di and add the widget you want to your dashboard. See Widgets for all available types.
2. Hover the widget on your dashboard and click the share icon. Toggle Public embed on.
3. Copy the embed URL. It looks like https://7di.vision/embed/your-token.
4. Append ?rounded=true&theme=dark to the URL so the widget has a transparent background and a dark color scheme suited to streams.
5. In OBS Studio: click + in the Sources panel, select Browser, and paste the URL.
6. Set the width and height to match your widget (see the sizing guide below).
7. Check Shutdown source when not visible and Refresh browser when scene becomes active.
8. In the Properties dialog, check Custom CSS and leave it blank, or set body { background: transparent; } if the transparency does not take effect automatically.
9. Position the source in your scene. Resize, move, or lock it as needed.

Recommended widgets for streaming

The following widget types work especially well as OBS overlays and Streamlabs browser sources:

• Crypto price — the most popular OBS crypto widget. Show Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, or any token price live on stream. Viewers see the current price update without you saying a word. Use the candlestick or value display for compact overlays.
• Minecraft server — a classic OBS Minecraft widget. Display your server's online status, current player count, version, and MOTD in the corner of the scene. Players can check whether the server is up before joining while you are live.
• Minecraft TPS — show server TPS and tick time live. Useful for performance-focused streams where viewers care about lag. Combine with the Minecraft server widget for a full server status overlay.
• Wallet balance — display a wallet's total USD value across Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Optimism, and Arbitrum. Popular for DeFi streams and crypto portfolio updates. No wallet connection needed, just a public address.
• Webhook — push any value from your game, server, or app directly into an OBS overlay. Your code POSTs a JSON value to the widget's endpoint and the overlay updates instantly. Use it for custom score counters, kill counts, donation totals, or any number your stream produces.
• Domain / uptime — monitor your own site or game server and show its status on stream. Viewers see immediately if something goes down. Works as an OBS uptime widget for streamers who also run services.
• News feed and RSS feed — scroll live headlines from crypto, tech, or any RSS source in a corner of the scene. Good for background context on commentary streams.
• Live lookup (AI) — ask a question in plain English and display the live answer on stream. Show current commodity prices, market data, or any fact that changes throughout the day without manual updates.

Streamlabs Desktop uses the same Browser Source panel as OBS Studio. Click + in your Sources list, choose Browser Source, and paste the same URL. All the settings above apply identically. The ?rounded=true parameter works the same way.

Sizing guide

Themes for dark streams

The ?theme= parameter controls the widget color scheme. For most streams, dark, midnight, or synthwave work best since they blend into dark game capture without creating a bright box. When ?rounded=true is also set, the background is fully transparent so only the widget content and its border are visible.
